Introduction to Pretium

Pretium Frameworks develops and manages specialist frameworks on behalf of contracting authorities operating in the public sector across the UK.

It has created a suite of specialised frameworks, working with a variety of partner organisations. These cover a range of construction and development services; compliance including fire; and business supplies, fleet and materials supply.

The team's role

Framework development

The Pretium team seeks to identify potential gaps in the market across a wide range of works, supplies and services and develop framework solutions to meet those. It works closely with contracting authorities to ensure each framework will be robust yet flexible in its offering, with a key focus on providing genuine value: whilst the Pretium frameworks are competitively priced, it doesn’t compromise on quality and works closely with its client base, offering a personal touch which enables it to react to meet customer’s needs.

Framework management

Pretium acts as framework manager on all the single-supplier frameworks, supporting new clients through the on-boarding process and beyond. It administers all aspects of each framework too, including the facilitation of mini-competitions and direct awards via the Echelon Group’s dedicated online procurement portal.
