We are a proud ‘Charity Partner’ for Herts Young Homeless (hyh)
We have chosen hyh in particular because they are a unique Hertfordshire-based charity who provide essential services to children, young people and their families who have a housing issue. The charity’s main aim is to prevent homelessness but it also offers advice and support to those in crisis, help for vulnerable adults with mental health issues and ongoing support for those in their first home.
In addition to fundraising activities for hyh our Managing Director, Mathew Baxter is a Trustee on the Board.

Several members of the echelon team spent a night sleeping outside in the grounds of Oaklands College in St Albans to raise money for Herts Young Homeless.
Our MD Mathew Baxter, Director Aaron John, Systems Consultant Tony Herbert, Accounts and Office Assistant Ellis Hanks and Ellis’s mum Claudia, braved the elements for the charity’s Sponsored Sleepout 2018.
“It is sobering to think that 5,000 people have to do this every night and they are not fortunate enough to go home to warm houses like we were able to,” said Mathew.
“HYH is a wonderful charity that does amazing work helping young people and we were proud to support this event as well as having HYH as our nominated company charity.”
The team raised £1275 for Herts Young Homeless.
Echelon is also proud to sponsor aspiring motorbike racer, Sam Cox. Sam has been riding and racing motorcycles in British Motorcycling Clubs and the National series since 2003. During that time, with support from sponsors like echelon, he has continued to improve and develop his career. This year Sam is riding a Yamaha R1 in the British Superbikes Stock 1000 Class and has already begun the season with new Personal Bests and great race results.
