Inspection Preparation
Many of our Clients have experienced both long notice and short notice inspections and we have often been involved in the audit process.
The move to short notice inspections means that Organisations need to ensure they are prepared for an audit at all times. Following our experiences of short notice inspections over the last year, we have developed a toolkit for preparing Organisations for a short notice inspection on all Asset Management services.
The key driver for preparation of a short notice inspection is to develop a “Scramble Plan”. This plan is a toolkit that allows the Client Organisation to prepare itself for the audit with minimal notice, the key principle being that the echelon toolkit ensures Organisations are in a constant state of readiness by having clear and tangible evidence of how the service is being delivered, managed and evolved with a high emphasis on customer input.
To date, we have had several of our Clients audited under the short notice regime, two of whom received the equivalent of 3 stars, with both audit reports citing the echelon model as an exemplar for service delivery.
