Asset Management
Increasingly, Organisations are looking at ways of delivering savings in the delivery of their Asset Management services (including responsive repairs, voids, gas servicing and breakdown, planned maintenance, cyclical maintenance and service contracts).
Quite often, these services are all delivered in isolation of each other by a myriad of different Contractors and quite often are procured on different forms of Contract with difference levels of service and cost.
echelon has developed a procurement model that enables organisations to undertake a detailed review of how services are currently delivered through a process of structured review of current levels of performance as well as identfying aspirations of future service delivery by all stakeholders with the focus on resident engagement.
By aligning the different service streams, Organisations can use the procurement process to ensure they explore all the different options open to them for Contractors to deliver the Asset Management service.
For example, during the procurement stage the Lots can be broken down into the specific workstreams to ascertain the delivery offering from specialist Contractors as well as multiple lot bids by integrated service providers. This enables Organisations to undertake a detailed quantative and qualitative assesment based on the detailed tenders received.
echelon have undertaken this integrated approach with several Client and have achieved savings of between 8 and 12% for our Clients.
