Background

Sonya has been working in the Social Housing sector for over 10 years most recently for a major national contractor.  Over this time she has developed a career in business development and client relations working closely with many housing organisations gaining a broad appreciation of property maintenance in the public sector. Prior to this Sonya gained valuable commercial and customer service skills working in retail management for 5 years.

Sonya has worked in the contracting environment developing her career over 10 years giving her exposure to many elements of service provision for social landlords at every level. Key skills include a good overall knowledge of the sector and excellent communication skills, building relationships and facilitating collaborative working to meet clients' needs.

Role

As Client Relationship Manager, Sonya's role in the echelon team will be to liaise with both prospective and current clients to ensure we continue to provide a tailored service to meet specific requirements and marry the skills in our business to the needs of our customers. She will also be responsible for marketing and new business activity for the group.

Outside echelon

Sonya busies herself in whatever spare time she can find with her family, spending time entertaining small children and one bigger one! 

She also very much enjoys winding down in the kitchen creating culinary masterpieces with a glass (or 2) of good wine, then working it off running or in the gym.

Having travelled round the world, Sonya had a taste for holidaying outside the UK visiting new places seeing new things when she gets the opportunity.
