Background
Luke has worked on the Client and Contractor side within the repairs, maintenance and facilities management sectors for the past 9 years. Having grown up surrounded by a family business in the Construction Industry, Luke is a qualified Building Surveyor with a broad range of experience in procurement, project management, contract mobilisation and performance management and benchmarking.

Key Skills
Luke has a comprehensive knowledge of the Social Housing Sector and Construction Industry as a whole and will be helping to develop and expand echelon’s core activities. Key skills/knowledge includes installation of performance management models, corporate social responsibility, the sustainability and environmental agenda’s, facilitating business process mapping/value engineering workshops and ensuring excellence is part of the culture of service delivery. Luke has also assisted with the implementation of asset management and repairs and maintenance software solutions. Luke also has extensive knowledge of Best Practice Tenant communication, literature and customer service models.
echelon Role
Luke acts as a Consultant on all the major projects on which echelon are engaged and is responsible for the support of the strategic management team of the company. Luke’s role includes the development and delivery of some of the key echelon tools, such as the Partnering Health Checks and managing the implementation of KPIs (40 projects and counting!) as well as maintaining echelon’s market-leading approach to procurement of asset management based services.
Luke acts as the lead for echelon on solutions to the sustainability and environmental agendas.
Going forward, Luke will be also be championing echelon’s Best Practice and Benchmarking Club - the Asset Management Improvement Partnership - AMIP . The club is growing steadily and has recently expanded to include a Resident’s Best Practice forum. Another arm is due to be set up soon...watch this space!!!
Outside echelon
Having recently got married, Luke is currently settling into his new status and both he and Sarah are enjoying having their weekends free from planning! Picture is the one honeymoon adventure – shark cage diving in South Africa.
Luke follows most sport and enjoys going to the gym swimming and tennis and is trying to teach himself to play the guitar – slowly. Also a keen motorcyclist – Luke is looking forward to his first track day soon.
