Tony Herbert MSc – Systems Consultant
Background
Prior to joining echelon, Tony was a Director of an IT company developing bespoke software applications for Housing Associations and Local Authorities for over six years. Previously he advised organisations in areas such as IT system procurement, integration and development. And was Computer Manager for a London-based Housing Association for almost five years. He trained in accountancy with Leeds City Council, running the Right to Buy finance team amongst other areas. He has also worked within planned works, capital management and DLO Financial Management. Finally, it all started in the private sector as a cost estimator and work study engineer in the contract packaging industry.

echelon Role
Tony’s key role within echelon is to provide our clients and stakeholders with the technical support surrounding the increasing complexities of system integration. He sits on many of the IT Sub Groups with responsibilities ranging from technical advisor to project management. He’s background within asset management; housing management and data analysis help to assist our clients in getting IT right, first time.
Outside echelon
Tony’s activities include snowboarding, playing football and travelling to the far-flung parts of the globe, in search of adventure!
